What is the stick used for?

there mainly are two kinds of paper stick

①Diameter over 3mm: use for Lollipop stick, marshmallow stick, chocolate stick, shoe support stick, toy stick, etc.

②Diameter less than 3mm: Medical cotton swabs, cosmetic cotton swabs, electronic cotton swabs, etc.

Which paper weight and which glue is used?

① Paper weight: Normally is 50-80gsm paper

② Glue: The general use of polyvinyl alcohol powder with water after melting can be adjusted into paper stick machine glue.

Making method: add one part of polyvinyl alcohol powder to two parts of water, stir well, heat and melt into the shape of sugar. In use, it is desirable to add one part of melted glue and six parts of water to stir well.

Because polyvinyl alcohol is a kind of sugar, the paper bars made of it are environmentally friendly and can be used as lollipops and other foods.

What width of paper enters the machines?

①For straight roll-up type machine, we provide two size machine, max available for 500mm or 1000mm paper

②For Oblique roll-up type machine normally is 500mm width paper

Dear how many GSM, do we need to make my different diameters? Like if need to make 3 mm/4.8 dia so what is GSM and width paper?

Normally is 50-80gsm paper, different diameters need Change the gear ratio of feed roller and cut roller(4.8 diameter cutting ratio is higher than 3mm), don’t need to change paper gsm

paper width is cutting width add 6-10mm, for example for 150mm length, you will need 156-160mm width paper

How we can calculate the weight of per piece stick 

Each paper stick weight G = V × θ,

V=volume, θ=specific gravity coefficient(ordinary paper rod θ = 0.0011)

For example: diameter φ = 3mm, length L = 150mm:

Paper stick volume V = (π / 4) × φ² × L = 0.785 × 9 × 150 = 1059.75

∴ weight G = V × θ = 1059.75 × 0.0011 = 1.165 (g)

Note: Paperweight does not affect the coefficient

The thickness of the glue is different, and the coefficient is different, which is about 0.0009-0.0012

How many kg wastages will come?

Wastage is 1-2%

Suppose we confirm 1 machine for paper stick making than it will take to how many days time (production time )

About 35 days after receiving the deposit

What is the raw material for this paper stick making machine?

①Paper: single-side glaze paper, available weight is 30-200gsm (normally our client use 50-80g)

②Glue: made of Polyvinyl alcohol powder mix water, can also be starch glue.

Suppose we want to make paper stick size like length bigger or smaller than can make or not

It’s available to make,

The different lengths need change the cut mold, extra mold price is $350/set

Suppose diameter if we want to make a little bigger or smaller can we make?

It’s available to make,

The different diameters (2-6mm) could adjust by the control panel, available adjust range is 1.5mm.

What is the total speed production capacity of the machine per day?

The speed is different when the diameter is different, and the machine is available to make two-piece at once when the stick length is less than 120mm

Example:

stick 2.5-3mm, length ＞120mm, speed around 800-900pcs/min, 1.15-1.29million/24hr

stick 2.5-3mm, length ＜120mm, speed around 1600-1800pcs/min, 2.3-2.59million/24hr

stick 3.5-4mm, length ＞120mm, speed around 600-700pcs/min, 0.86-1million/24hr

stick 3.5-4mm, length ＜120mm, speed around 1200-1500pcs/min, 1.72-2.16million/24hr

Fiber paper and glue details can you send?

①Paper: Food paper sticks are commonly used “wood pulp base paper”, that is, paper that has not been treated with fluorescent whitening.

Color: light yellow

Paper process name: single-side glaze paper

※Note: paper after processing single-side glaze paper and double-side glaze paper. The double-side glaze paper is hard, rolling is not easy to form, so generally with single-side glaze paper.

②Glue technical index:

We can adjust diameter by machine if paper width is bigger or smaller

Yes, different diameters (2-6mm) could adjust by the control panel,  the available adjust range is 1.5mm.

Paper width affects the length of the stick length, normally paper width is a stick length+5-10mm

Suppose stick we want to make with the sizes like 93mm or 97mm or 102mm?

93, 97, 102mm all could make, different stick length need change the cutting mold, machine standard is with one mold, extra mold price is $380
