The paper stick is made with paper and glue, the glue suggests PVA powder mixed with water. The glue needs time to dry.
In different production processes, the dry time is different.
Oblique roll-type paper stick making machines need more time to dry. Because when rolling the paper, need to add water, and glue as well. Without the dryer will need around 24 hours, while stack bulk will need more time, sometimes more than 48 hours. With the dryer is 15-30 minutes.
For straight roll type paper stick making machines, the dry time is short, because the glue consumption is very less, so drying is quick. Without a dryer around 1-2 hours will be enough. (humid environment needs more time). With the dryer is 3-5 minutes.
The lollipop stick made of paper is biodegradable.
The raw material of the paper stick is paper and glue.

It depends on what kind of paper is used. Only paper sticks made of High Temperature and Heat Resistant paper are available to put into the oven. And better not more than 400℃, and longer than 30 minutes.
The paper stick is made of food-grade paper, it’s ok to put it in the mouth, but it’s not edible. Although something like that won’t damage the stomach or intestines and will be broken down through the digestive tract in a few days, but it still can be very dangerous as the paper stick is hard.
