The standard cut only cuts strips; with the shape cutting system the machine cuts different shapes (60+ designs available – see the design gallery on viemachinery.com).

Available range is 0.012-0.1 mm; 0.036 mm (36 micron) is the most common in China. 16-micron PET has been tested and works; 12 micron should be fine depending on material quality (stretch, toughness).
